Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the Columbus, OH market. This field-based role delivers high-quality customer program execution through service, installations, maintenance, and issue resolution across Institutional segments.

Eligible candidates will support customers, meet brand standards, and collaborate with sales and service teams to enhance the customer experience. Occasional travel to surrounding areas is required, with a 10-hour shift pattern and overnight flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of service-related experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and installing equipment preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with no restrictions is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests and other planned/unplanned work orders.
• Evaluate account conditions during visits and help customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory for a fully stocked vehicle and first-time fix performance.
• Document all work performed accurately and timely.
• Communicate total value to customers and strengthen relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness.
