Job summary

CGL Electronic Security, Inc. is seeking a full-time Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security and video surveillance systems for customers in the Westwood area.

You’ll join a tight-knit team, receive a take-home service vehicle, and rotate on-call for after-hours emergencies. Responsibilities include responding to service calls and maintenance, diagnosing and fixing security systems, and documenting service reports.

Qualifications

• Solid communication skills and ability to deal directly with customers.
• Advanced technical skills related to electronic security and video surveillance systems.
• 3+ years servicing, installing, or programming access control systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Willingness to travel locally to jobsites; rare overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers and respond to service calls and maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair security, access control, and video systems.
• Program and configure system software.
• Fill out clear, accurate service reports after every job.
• Use hand and power tools and work at heights when needed.
• Represent CGL as the customer’s go-to service provider.
