Job summary

Mettler Toledo AG is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs at customer locations within the assigned region.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical/electronic/mechanical issues, configuring networks, reading schematics, using diagnostic tools, and documenting service activities. The role requires clear communication with customers and teams, safety, and the ability to coach junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and instrumentation issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot communication and network connections.
• Support equipment integration with customer systems and networks.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Use diagnostic tools, meters, and test equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Document service activities, findings, parts usage, and recommendations accurately.
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers, operations teams, and management.
• Work safely and independently at customer facilities.
• Provide coaching and technical support to less experienced technicians when needed.
• Manage multiple service priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
