Job summary

Maverick Power in Orlando is seeking a Service Technician to support equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of power distribution equipment. You will interpret drawings, collect and organize technical data, and work with engineering and manufacturing to upgrade or modify installed equipment.

You must read technical drawings, write reports, document findings, and stay safety-minded while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-Yr technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays when required.
• Interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and manuals is required.
• Microsoft Office skills and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites and support installation, start-up and commissioning.
• Read and interpret drawings and product instructions for configuration.
• Document safety, quality findings and resolutions in maintenance systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to address quality issues.
• Interpret BOMs, wiring diagrams and equipment specifications.
