Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Field Service Technician/Driver in Winona, MN, handling installation, service, and repair of FMI technology devices at company and customer sites.

You will drive a company vehicle regionally and provide excellent customer support. Responsibilities include device testing, training customers, and maintaining safety and quality standards while traveling with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Possess a current full valid driver's license with driving record acceptable for company vehicle use
• Health Card required or ability to obtain one
• Meet DOT driving hours-of-service and interstate travel requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient with computers
• Willingness to travel across state lines and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Travel to Fastenal locations and customer facilities to install and service FMI devices
• Assemble, clean, recondition and test devices per instructions
• Test and repair mechanical and electrical components of devices
• Train customers on device and software usage
• Complete checklists and follow all process steps
• Communicate with supervisor and team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Comply with safety regulations
