Job summary

Sudden Service, Inc. is seeking a field Service Technician to maintain and repair Taylor OEM equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and train operators and junior technicians. You will travel to customer sites, perform on-site servicing, ensure proper operation, and report details for accurate billing.

The role emphasizes prompt service, strong communication, and maintaining company image through neat PPE and vehicle upkeep. Overnight trips may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills and basic computer use.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be DOT certified.
• Travel to out-of-town locations overnight may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan effective work and travel with the Service Supervisor.
• Diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace parts, and test machines.
• Provide tools, parts, and arrange facilities for on-site work.
• Inspect machines on delivery and after repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Document time, parts, travel, and billing information accurately.
• Mentor less experienced staff and assist on large repair jobs.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork promptly.
