Sudden Service, Inc. in Gonzales, LA is seeking a Service Technician to support after-sales service for Taylor equipment. You will diagnose and repair diesel hydraulics, perform on-site service, and train customers on operation, maintenance, and warranty requirements.

You will report to the Service Supervisor and travel to customer locations as needed. Ideal candidates have vocational training in hydraulics and diesel repair, 3 years of field experience, and a valid DOT-certified credential.

Qualifikationen

• Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• DOT certification is required or obtainable.
• Occasional overnight travel may be needed.

Aufgaben

• Consult with Service Supervisor to plan work and travel.
• Diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace parts, and adjust controls.
• Provide tools and arrange for on-site repair at customer locations.
• Inspect and test machines at delivery and after repair.
• Document time, parts, travel, and other charges for billing.
• Attend company-sponsored training to improve skills.
• Maintain neat appearance and keep service truck clean and orderly.
• Mentor or supervise junior service personnel on large jobs.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork promptly.
