Job summary

POWERX Co. is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician as part of the Development Program in Atlanta, GA.

You will complete five weeks of paid training covering electrical safety, power systems fundamentals, and relay testing before deploying to customer sites nationwide. After training, you will assist with testing, commissioning, and service activities on power systems equipment, progressing toward independent work and potential specialization in testing, protection and controls, or

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of field/testing experience; entry-level program with structured training.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer sites nationwide.
• Ability to read wire schematics and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with electrical field testing, commissioning, and service activities.
• Execute test points and procedures accurately, gaining independence with experience.
• Document test data and contribute to test procedures and reports.
• Represent POWERX professionally at client sites nationwide.
