Topcon Positioning Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and service machine control systems on heavy equipment across job sites. The role emphasizes hands-on field work with travel, typically home on weekends, and opportunities to grow into advanced technical or training roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school (preferred).
• Experience with heavy equipment or construction machinery is a plus.
• Willingness and aptitude to learn heavy equipment operation and advanced technology.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Topcon Machine Control systems on dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, pavers and curb machines.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, hydraulic, and electronic systems to improve machine accuracy.
• Provide on-site, phone, email, and remote technical support for customers and sales teams.
• Represent the company professionally at customer job sites and build long-term relationships.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions; travel as needed and home weekends when possible.
