Job summary

TriMark USA, the nation’s leading provider of design services, equipment and supplies for the foodservice industry, seeks a Service Technician - Hot Side in Houston, TX. You will diagnose, repair and maintain commercial hot-side cooking equipment at customer facilities to ensure reliability and safety.

The ideal candidate is technically skilled, safety-focused, and experienced with gas and electric hot-side systems in high-volume kitchens.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years in servicing commercial cooking equipment (hot side).
• Strong understanding of gas, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair gas and electric cooking equipment (ranges, ovens, fryers, etc.).
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and gas issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Replace defective components such as thermostats, gas valves and heating elements.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Calibrate temperature controls and test safety mechanisms.
• Provide on-site customer support and clear repair findings.
• Complete service documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with dispatch.
• Follow OSHA, local and company safety standards.
