dormakaba USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Knoxville, TN. You will install and service various doors, equipment, and control devices, and perform preventive maintenance on automatic doors and related equipment.

The role involves traveling to customer sites within the territory, with potential overnight stays and per diem provided. The position requires a valid driver's license and physical ability to perform demanding work with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Valid current driver's license.
• Physical requirements (lift up to 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, overhead work).
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools for install/maintenance/repair.
• AAADM certification (preferred).
• 1+ years' experience with automatic door installation/maintenance or similar experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of automatic sliding door systems at customer locations.
• Communicate with sales and service management about customer needs and sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate project and/or service data with documentation and technical data.
• Travel to customer sites within territory, including day trips up to 4 hours one way and occasional overnight travel for up to one week with per diem.
