dormakaba Americas is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Chicago, IL to install and service automatic doors and related equipment. The role involves travel to customer sites within the territory and performing preventive maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• AAADM certification preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience with automatic door installation/maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and install automatic sliding door systems at customer sites.
• Coordinate with sales and service management on customer needs and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate project and service data with documentation and data guides.
• Travel within the territory, including day trips and occasional overnight assignments with per diem.
