Field Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical problems, install equipment and perform unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance based on customer demand.
- Analyze problem situations for breakdowns and recommend corrective actions to customers.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor and provide superior customer service in a team environment.
- Perform necessary repairs efficiently and productively.
- Maintain parts and supplies inventory in the service van and keep vehicle in proper condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- 1 to 3 years of mechanical, electrical or hydraulic experience in a similar environment, or equivalent college or vocational education.
- Strong communication skills with customers, management and coworkers.
- Good understanding of industry innovations and product availability to make recommendations based on customer needs.
Travel Requirements
- Position requires daily travel within assigned territories.
- Technicians receive a company vehicle and Fuel Card for vehicle expenses.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift or move up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
- Good speaking, hearing and voice control.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus as required.
