Job summary

Riekes Equipment in Williston, ND is seeking a Field Service Technician to keep forklifts, pallet jacks and other industrial equipment running safely for customers across the Midwest.

You’ll diagnose and repair equipment, provide superior customer service, and follow safety policies in a team‑oriented, growth‑minded culture. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay, a company bonus program, and opportunities for ongoing training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ experience of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand wiring and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Competently use mobile phone and personal computer.
• Personal hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, aerial lifts, compactors, and other industrial equipment.
• Identify and recommend items in need of repair.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Work safely, following all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Field Service Technician Duties:

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be trusted to keep essential equipment running safely and efficiently. Your work directly impacts our customers’ productivity.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, aerial lifts, compactors, and other industrial equipment
• Identify and recommend items in need of repair.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Work safely, following all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Field Service Technician Requirements:

• Three or more years’ experience of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair is strongly preferred. Previous experience diagnosing and repairing in the Material Handling, Automotive, Heavy Machinery, or Diesel industries is also preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand wiring and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong communication skills required. Must be fluent in English. Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Competently use mobile phone and personal computer

• Valid Driver's License without recent major violations
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
