Job summary

Crown is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites in Sanford, FL. You will perform scheduled maintenance, maintain a well-stocked service van, and complete paperwork after each job.

The candidate should have less than 2 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license with a clean record; strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic aptitude is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes; ability to read schematics and understand hydraulic systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
• Industry related training is preferred
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
