Job summary

Crown is seeking a field technician to troubleshoot and repair Crown and other lift trucks. You will perform scheduled maintenance and keep a well-stocked service van, ensuring accurate service documentation after each job.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and under 2 years of related experience. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude plus customer care skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Preferred: Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Preferred: Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Preferred: Technical degree, welding experience, and knowledge of testing equipment.
• Familiar with tools such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various testing equipment.
• Industry related training is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through.
