e3 Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Technician (Sales & Service Tech) to join our team. You will serve as a trusted equipment expert for customers, supporting audiological instrumentation needs through new equipment solutions, technical repairs, and NASED-certified calibration.

The role requires regional travel to NY/CT sites, with a starting salary of $60,000 and commission eligibility after training and competencies are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A 2-year technical or engineering degree or related experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform ANSI-certified calibrations, maintenance, repairs and installations on audiology equipment.
• Stay updated with required trainings.
• Build and maintain customer relationships; provide service and support.
• Collaborate with Office Administrator for scheduling.
• Maintain accurate customer and equipment records.
• Identify potential clients and cultivate sales opportunities to support territory growth.
• Ensure preventative maintenance is completed per best practices.
• Travel up to 80%; work independently with minimal supervision.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted equipment expert for our customers—supporting their audiological instrumentation needs through new equipment solutions, technical repairs, and NASED-certified calibration.

Travel

This position requires regional travel to customer sites across parts of NY and CT including New York, NY, Poughkeepsie NY, Norwalk CT and New Haven CT and will require some overnight and weekly travel.

Compensation

Starting salary of $60,000, with commission eligibility after training and required competencies are met (typically after 6+ months).

• Build and maintain customer relationships; provide service and technical support.
• Collaborate with Office Administrator for scheduling.
• Maintain accurate customer and equipment records.
• Identify potential clients and cultivate sales opportunities to support territory growth.
• Ensure preventative maintenance is completed according to best practice.
• Travel up to 80%; work independently with minimal supervision.
• Calibrate equipment received at regional office and coordinate returns.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• A two (2) year Technical or Engineering degree or related experience required.
• Willingness to follow the guidelines detailed in the e3 Proficiency and Certification handbook.

Travel

• This role may require travel as much as 80% of the time.
• Some overnight trips will be required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
• Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to Lift up to 50 pounds, bending and lifting throughout the workday.
• Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clear driving record.
• Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
• Must pass Drug Test.
