e3 Diagnostics, headquartered in the United States, is seeking a Service Technician to join our team at the corporate office in Arlington Heights, IL. The position involves repairing and calibrating audiological instruments and delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires performing calibration, maintenance, repairs, and installations on a variety of audiology equipment, keeping detailed records, and participating in required training. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical or engineering degree or at least two years related experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with database management systems.

Responsibilities

• Build & maintain customer relationships and provide unparalleled service and technical support.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, repairs, and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.
• Calibrate the field test equipment received at the regional office; schedule return to customer when completed.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Keep product knowledge current by attending required training.
• Collaborate with office administration to schedule equipment calibrations meeting deadlines and certification requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment.
• Limited travel to customers’ locations; work independently with minimal supervision.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and calibrating audiological instruments all while delivering unparalleled customer service. The ideal candidate for this role will be technically inclined with experience performing maintenance on electronic equipment and possess excellent customer service skills.

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 annual salary

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical or Engineering degree or at least two years related experience required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office, experience with database management systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to maintain a clear driving record.

Travel

• This position is subject to travel up to 10% of the time depending upon the local office need.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching, depending upon variables at customer location.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
