Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service customers in the Middletown, CT area. You will be close to customers, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and related equipment, and coordinate with the Service Manager on repairs and upgrades.

You will also train others and uphold safety standards. The role includes a 24/7/365 on-call rotation and a base salary range of $55,000–$75,000, with a company vehicle, health insurance, retirement benefits, and paid leave.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps and blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads as needed.
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager about services and options.
• Fill out work orders, startup forms, warranty forms and parts slips.
• Train and assist other service technicians.
• Promote and practice safety procedures and proper PPE.
• Set, install and pipe compressor systems as required.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call with other technicians.

This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As aField Service Technician, you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience. You will report to the Service Manager.

• You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers
• You will pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer's entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
• You will communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs
• You will completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips
• You will train and assist other Service Technicians
• You will promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment
• You will set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed
• You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager

• Base annual salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience: $55,000-75,000.

• ou will be remote with a dedicated territory, and report to our Middletown, CT location. #LI-Remote
