Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC seeks a Field Service Technician to service customers across our area, reporting to the Service Manager. You will troubleshoot and repair compressors and related equipment, while maintaining safety and quality in every service visit.

You will also train other technicians, complete all documents, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule. A valid driver's license and 3+ years of field service experience are required.

Qualifications

• Has a valid driver's license.
• Has at least 3 years of technician experience.
• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Customer-focused with ownership of service outcomes.
• Supplies own basic required tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers.
• Pressure wash and clean the customer's equipment pad and surroundings as needed.
• Communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding services performed and present repair options.
• Completely fill out all work orders, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians.

Your role

To best serve our customers, we are increasing our presence within our field service area. This supports our mission in providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great efficiency to our customers. As a Field Service Technician, you are an important part of this mission. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience. You will report to the Service Manager.

• You will troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers
• You will pressure wash (where possible) and effectively clean the customer's entire equipment pad including skids, coolers, concrete, tanks, etc.
• You will communicate with the customer and Service Manager regarding all services performed and clearly present all options for any required repairs, upgrades, or other customer needs
• You will completely fill out all work orders, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return slips
• You will train and assist other Service Technicians
• You will promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal and protective equipment
• You will set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed
• You will participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the Service Manager

• ou will be remote with a dedicated territory, and report to our Covington, GA location. #LI-Remote
