Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and optimize the performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing equipment for customers across healthcare, education, hospitality and food service sectors. You will be the trusted expert providing on-site service in Clinton Township, MI.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service or equipment repair experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting.
• Valid state driver’s license required; clean driving record (MVR).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for diverse customers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and measure performance to ensure reliability.
• Provide exceptional customer service and on-site support, including on-call rotation as needed.
• Maintain and use tools, company credit card, and uniform allowance as part of daily duties.
