Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Service Technician for InnoServ to install, maintain, and repair coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers and chemical dispensing equipment across the Fort Wayne region and nearby states. You’ll join a team focused on reliable service for national accounts, healthcare, and hospitality.

The role offers a real opportunity for growth with incentives, paid weekly, benefits, and a company van for work use. Flexibility for weekends and on-call evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Two years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines.
• Provide service across the Fort Wayne area down to Dunkirk and into Van Wert, OH.
• Support customers with exceptional in-person service during flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.

Position Summary

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

• This person will support South Fort Wayne down to Dunkirk and over to Van Wert, Ohio. The ideal candidate resides within the service territory and/or surrounding areas***

Pay:

Starting at $52,748/year ($25.36/hour) + incentives, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience and qualifications.

• Weekend rotation/on call incentives
• Quarterly incentive based on performance (up to $500 a quarter)

When You Will Work

• Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service. This includes a weekend rotation and on call evenings.

What You'll Bring To The Table

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check – we do not check your credit score)
• Two years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
