Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Service Technician for InnoServ to install, maintain, and optimize coffee, juice, dishwasher, and chemical-dispensing machines across national accounts and large operators.

You will join a team focused on reliability, service quality, and customer satisfaction, with on-the-job training and a company van provided for work use.

Qualifications

• 2 years in customer service or equipment repair, or equivalent training/experience.
• Mechanical aptitude with electrical, plumbing, and health/sanitation codes.
• Ability to lift heavy machines and perform physical tasks.
• Valid state driver’s license required and clean driving record.
• Pass drug screen, MVR, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and monitor performance for various customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and on-site support.
• Travel to customer sites; on-call weekend rotation may be required.

Position Summary

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.

When You Will Work

• Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service such as on call weekend rotation flexibility.
• Opportunity for overtime available as needed and limited.

What You'll Bring To The Table

• Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check – we do not check your credit score.
