Job summary

Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the Southeast region and support customers in the Huntsville area. The role involves installation, repair, and servicing of magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations, with travel required to sites across the Southeast.

• Ability to communicate with customers and represent the company professionally.
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus.
• Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and Salesforce Lightning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipment to add value for the customer.
• Travel on-site for troubleshooting customer machinery issues.
• Receive briefing from fellow Technical Support associates before customer visits, including prior actions taken.
• Install, troubleshoot, and service magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations within a region.
• Tools and instruments provided.

Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company are critical requirements
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus
• Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning

Duties

• Participate in installation, repairs, and maintaining the equipment while adding value for the customer
• Travel on-site for troubleshooting any issues our customer has with machinery
• Receive briefing from fellow Technical Support associates prior to customer visit. This will include any action or troubleshooting activities already taken with the customer to address their needs
• Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout a specified region
• Tools and instruments provided

Schedule

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Overnight travel will be 50 - 75% depending on your base of operation.

Salary: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
