Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Field Service Technician in Evansville, IN to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites. The role includes performing planned maintenance, maintaining a service van and its inventory, and processing job documentation after completion.

The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Good driving record
Ability to safely operate lift trucks
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines
Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
Technical degree preferred
Previous lift truck repair preferred
Welding experience preferred
Knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and various testing equipment
Ability to read and understand service manuals
Ability to plan and follow through
Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided
