Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician in Vandalia, OH to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other lift trucks. The role includes performing planned maintenance on customer equipment and maintaining the service van and its inventory.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to read schematics and service manuals, and solid communication skills are essential. Driver's license and US work authorization required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no current or future sponsorship available.
