Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, manage a service van and inventory, and complete all service paperwork accurately.

You will deliver responsive local field service and strong customer support for material handling equipment. The role requires minimal experience, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks, with strong mechanical/electrical

Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Good driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
  • Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand service manuals.
  • Ability to plan and follow through.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must not require current or future work authorization sponsorship.
