Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a field service technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other lift trucks. You will perform planned maintenance on customer equipment and manage a service van with its inventory, ensuring accurate documentation after each job.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to read schematics and service manuals, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks
• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks
• Maintain a service van and its inventory
• Process paperwork after completion of each job

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
• Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment
• Ability to read and understand service manuals
• Ability to plan and follow through
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no current or future sponsorship required
