ChartWater is seeking a Field Service Technician to support municipal and industrial water treatment projects. The role requires travel to customer sites for startups, media replacement, and issue resolution, plus training customers on operation and reviewing O&M manuals.
You will collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful startups and resolve technical issues. Expect about 75% travel; when not on the road, you will work onsite at customer facilities.

Travel to customer sites for system startups, media replacement, and system issues that can't be resolved remotely.
Train customers on how to operate equipment, which includes review of O&M manual.
Provide onsite technical support for the purpose of troubleshooting and resolving system issues of a mechanical, electrical or process nature.
Work closely with engineering and project management team members, when appropriate to ensure a successful system start up and/or resolve customer technical issue.
Estimated 75% travel required.
When not on the road, expected to work onsite.
This position primarily works outdoors, in all types of weather, and in potentially hazardous environments, which may involve exposure to dangerous chemicals. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and ladder climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
