Job summary

Aspen Contracting is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install and repair exterior systems, including roofing, siding, and gutters, at residential and commercial sites in the Akron area. You’ll work in the field with a company-provided truck, ladders, and basic tools, and you’ll represent Aspen professionally with customers.

We value hands-on problem solvers who can climb ladders, work outdoors year-round, and complete repairs with quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in construction, maintenance, or a related hands-on field.
• Previous hands-on experience with roofing, siding, and gutters.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and MVR.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing common roofing issues.
• Addressing siding and exterior repair needs.
• Working with and repairing gutter systems.
• Identifying installation or maintenance issues.
• Performing basic carpentry and general repair work.
• Climbing ladders and accessing roofs as needed.

Aspen Contracting is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician who knows their way around roofing, siding, gutters, and exterior construction.

This is a hands-on, field-based opportunity for someone who can look at a problem, understand what needs to be fixed, and take pride in getting the job done right.

You'll play an important role in making sure our customers are taken care of by addressing common issues related to the installation and maintenance of roofing, siding, gutters, and other exterior components.

This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk job—and it isn't an entry-level construction position. We're looking for someone with real, hands-on experience who is comfortable working independently in the field, climbing ladders and accessing roofs, completing repairs, and representing Aspen professionally with our customers.

Requirements
