Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to service on-site weighing equipment at customer locations within your region. You will perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs while documenting work in our service database.

You will travel up to 25%, collaborate with a team, learn METTLER TOLEDO software, and ensure safety and quality standards. A Class B CDL and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years relevant work experience.
• Valid Class B CDL and ability to obtain Weights and Measures license.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical repair.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% by company vehicle or plane.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and METTLER TOLEDO software.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations, projects, and repairs with experienced technicians.
• Provide end-user training on proper operation and care of equipment.
• Document work performed and update service records in the service database daily.
• Communicate with Scheduling Analyst, Service Support, sales, and technicians to meet uptime targets.
• Maintain company vehicle and parts inventory in a clean, organized, and compliant manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads as appropriate.
• Follow safety, quality, and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
