Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Field Service Technician to support critical power systems nationwide.

The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing UPS, MV/LV distribution equipment, switchgear, and battery systems at mission-critical facilities across the United States. Responsibilities include leading field service projects, troubleshooting complex electrical systems, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

2+ years of field service experience with UPS systems, switchgear, or power distribution equipment.
Experience in data centers, critical facilities, or utilities.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

Lead field service projects and manage onsite activities independently.
Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, and repair UPS systems and MV/LV distribution equipment.
Troubleshoot switchgear, transfer equipment, battery systems, transformers, and control panels.
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and one-line drawings.
Supervise equipment startup, commissioning, and testing.
Ensure installations meet electrical codes and project requirements.
Travel across the United States and communicate effectively with customers.
