Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory safety services. You will inspect, test, maintain and repair safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, identifying discrepancies, and preparing accurate documentation. You will work under safety regulations and support warehouse and field operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• Minimum 1 Certifications (manufacturer/state).
• Minimum 1-year related experience.
• Must Have TWIC Card and Basic Safety Council Card.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Specific -- RELEVENT experience in Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair of Safety Equipment.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English (operational, process and quality instructions).

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls to inspect, test and repair safety equipment.
• Identify equipment discrepancies and document findings.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports promptly.
• Provide customer service for life safety equipment: fire extinguishers, hoses, monitors, respirators, fall protection, showers/eyewashes.
• Ensure testing/repair documentation is complete for invoicing.
• Maintain all required documentation and adherence to SOPs; operate safely.
