Job summary

Atlas Copco's Specialty Rental Division North America in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site service and repairs, traveling to customer sites as needed. You will report to the Customer Support Manager, maintain field fleets, perform preventative maintenance, and document work with company hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience as an industrial field service mechanic.
• Electromechanical degree or training is required.
• Experience in maintenance, overhaul and repair of equipment including electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics.
• Good command of English; second language is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field and repair down equipment at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment across the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient service processes.
• Improve measurable outcomes to business targets.
• Document all work daily using company hardware and software.
