Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repair and installation of hydraulic and related equipment at customer sites. The role includes 24/7 on-call support and regional responsibilities to ensure optimal system performance.

The position requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively with customers, peers and management to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs, equipment servicing and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Responsible for installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnoses problems, assesses scope, documents findings, and decides to repair or replace parts.
• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations and enhancements to customer specifications.
• Keeps customers informed about service status and recommends improvements or repairs.
• Follows guidelines to perform moderately complex repairs and installations under supervision.
• Ensures compliance with local/national regulations and Motion's safety standards.
• Provides technical support and training to customers on operation or maintenance of systems.
• Communicates technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• May assist and lead small-to-moderate projects at customer sites.
