Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site service, diagnostics, and repair for hydraulic and related equipment at customer sites in the United States. The role includes installation, on-site upgrades, and 24/7 on-call support, with opportunities to lead small projects and train others.

Typically requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience. Excellent driving record preferred; all company vehicles are monitored.

Responsibilities

Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
Installs, diagnoses, repairs and supports equipment at customer sites.
Diagnoses problems, determines repairs or part replacements.
Provides technical analysis of product implementations and enhancements to customer specs.
Keeps customers informed and recommends upgrades or repairs.
May lead small to moderate projects at customer sites.
Trains customers and assists less experienced technicians.
Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations.
