Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site service, installation, repairs and preventive maintenance for hydraulics and related equipment, with regional responsibility. The role requires diagnosing issues, providing customer training, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Typically 3–5 years of related experience and a technical degree are expected; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs, equipment servicing and upgrades.
• Installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnoses problems, documents findings, and decides on repairs or part replacements.
• Provides technical analysis of product implementations and communicates findings to customers.
• Leads small to moderate projects at customer sites.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance; provides customer training as required.
