Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform moderately complex customer support for hydraulics, component repair, welding, and related equipment, with regional responsibility for installation, maintenance and service.

Under general supervision, you will diagnose problems, perform on-site repairs and upgrades, provide technical training to customers, and lead small projects at client sites while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment installed at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, and decide repairs or replacements.
• Provides technical analysis and training to customers on system equipment.
• Communicates technical information to stakeholders and maintains high customer satisfaction.
• Leads small to moderate projects at customer sites.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations.
