Job summary

Hudson Technologies is seeking a Service Technician II to join our U.S. field service team.

As an intermediate-level technician, you will perform a broad range of HVAC/R service and refrigerant recovery tasks with minimal supervision and mentor junior Tech I staff on the job. You will handle on-site service calls, diagnose chiller and refrigeration issues, and participate in special projects, with up to 80% regional travel.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification required for this level.
• OSHA-10 safety training required; OSHA-30 is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine service calls and refrigerant recovery with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and resolve intermediate issues in HVAC/R systems and controls.
• Assist with complex projects such as retrofits and decontamination procedures.
• Coordinate on-site logistics and communicate progress to the Lead/Manager.
• Mentor Tech I personnel and provide on-the-job guidance as needed.
• Interact with customers to explain work performed and maintain satisfaction.
