Job summary

Hudson Technologies is seeking a Service Technician II for its U.S. field service team.

As an intermediate-level technician, you will perform a broad range of HVAC/R service and refrigerant recovery tasks with minimal supervision and mentor Tech I teammates on the job. You’ll tackle mid‑level repairs, assist with retrofit projects, and coordinate on‑site logistics while maintaining Hudson’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on HVAC/R field service experience.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required; OSHA-10 safety training at minimum.
• Valid driver’s license; able to meet DOT requirements; forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service jobs and refrigerant recovery with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and resolve intermediate issues in chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Assist senior technicians with complex projects such as refrigerant retrofit conversions and on-site lead responsibilities.
• Coordinate on-site logistics and communicate progress to managers and customers.
• Mentor Tech I teammates and train them on proper procedures and safety practices.
