Job summary

HOLT Group in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician II to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and recondition various light and heavy industrial equipment at an off-site location. You will document work, order parts, and maintain customer records while mentoring junior technicians.

Travel with overnight stays is required; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL are necessary. OSHA and safety training are expected as well as strict adherence to company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Air conditioning certification preferred.
• Crane/Rigger certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair generators, air compressors, HVAC/temperature control units, and power equipment.
• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership tools and processes.
• Works safely and adheres to all safety policies and company standards.
• Performs intermediate repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Performs basic to intermediate troubleshooting, diagnoses of equipment malfunctions, and failure analysis.
• Removes and install parts, disassembles and assembles components to CAT specifications.
• Tests, makes adjustments, and verifies proper operation of repairs and adjustments.
