Job summary

Holt Group seeks a Field Service Technician II to provide face-to-face support at an off-site location in Austin. You will diagnose and repair light and heavy construction equipment, perform minor repairs, and ensure tools, documents, and customer records are accurate.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of heavy equipment experience; three+ preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• MSHA certification preferred
• Air conditioning certification preferred
• Crane and Rigger certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform offsite minor repairs and troubleshooting with minimal supervision
• Disassemble/assemble basic components and replace parts as needed
• Test and verify operation after repairs and maintenance
• Maintain service reports and customer records, and process parts orders
• Operate equipment and vehicles with required licenses and clearances
• Travel with possible overnight stays as required
• Mentor lower-level technicians when needed
