Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site and off-site diagnostic and repair work on power generation, gas, and diesel engines as well as ATS switches. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and timely service delivery in a heavy equipment environment.

Strong troubleshooting, parts documentation, and the ability to operate cranes/forklifts are required. The position reports to the PSD department and is based in Georgetown, TX with potential travel and overnight

Qualifications

• More than two years of heavy equipment experience required; three or more years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Air conditioning certification preferred.
• Crane/Rigger certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Removes and installs parts, disassembles and assembles basic components.
• Tests and verifies proper operation of repairs and adjustments.
• Maintains service records and communicates progress to supervisor and customer.
• Travel may be required with possible overnight stays.
