Job summary

Integra is seeking a Field Service Technician with an electrical background to install, maintain and repair electrical systems at customer sites in Houston, TX. The role demands strong troubleshooting, safety consciousness and customer focus.

You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and document work orders while ensuring compliance with codes and company policies. Travel to customer locations and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in Electrical Technology preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance or field service.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including motors, controls, power distribution and automation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
  • OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, equipment and controls at customer locations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation to diagnose issues and actions.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve service needs while providing clear communication and technical support.
  • Complete service reports, documentation and work orders accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards and company policies.
  • Maintain tools, equipment and service vehicle in proper working condition.
  • Provide on‑call and emergency service support as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational objectives.

The Opportunity

What you will do
