Job summary

Hobart Service in Ohio seeks a Service/Repair Technician I to provide on-site support for commercial food equipment. You will install and service equipment, diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and follow safety procedures while supporting customers and the branch.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0-2 years mechanical or electrical experience, and a willingness to work on-call, evenings and weekends. Associates degree preferred; valid driving license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Associates degree or vocational certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs basic mechanical commercial food equipment and assists in more advanced installs.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs basic mechanical equipment for customers.
• Completes and documents preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Follows safety manuals and programs and maintains brand standards.
• Supports branch goals by delivering quality customer experiences.
• Keeps knowledge up to date on equipment and safety procedures.
