Job summary

Abel Womack is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to install, maintain and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and other automated handling equipment across NE USA. You will travel within a territory in ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT or NY, working with customers to troubleshoot issues and deliver high quality maintenance.

You should have strong mechanical/electrical skills, read schematics and blueprints, and enjoy team support while working independently.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensors, hydraulics, PLCs or charging systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong communication with customers, parts reps, dispatch and team members is required.
• Professional demeanor and ability to build positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair lift trucks and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment with customers and resolve issues.
• Grow technical skills through training and use company tablets for work orders.
• Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and superior customer service.
