Job summary

Abel Womack, Inc. is seeking Field Service Technicians to service Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related material handling gear in Saugus, MA and surrounding areas. Join a team that values problem solving, customer focus, and hands-on technical training.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost‑effective maintenance.
• Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems (a plus).
• Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.
• Ability to communicate regularly by phone and in person with team members, parts representatives, technical specialists, dispatch, lead service techs, and customers, required.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor and build positive customer relationships by delivering excellent customer service.
• Must provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly.

Responsibilities

• Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related material handling equipment.
• Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges.
• Apply and grow mechanical and technical skills through continuous training.
• Submit electronic work orders efficiently using a company‑provided tablet.
• Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service.
