Job summary

Abel Womack in Waterbury, CT is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and automated material handling equipment in the local area.

You’ll travel within a defined territory to troubleshoot with customers and receive extensive training plus a company vehicle. Competitive hourly pay is offered with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment with focus on quality, efficiency and cost-effective maintenance.
• Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges.
• Apply and grow mechanical and technical skills through training.
• Submit electronic work orders using a company-provided tablet.
• Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service.
