Alltex Staffing & Personnel is seeking a Field Service Technician for door installation and repair in Houston, TX. You will troubleshoot, install, and service door systems on-site, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, repairing defects, training sales teams and distributors on installation and product knowledge, and maintaining tools. Travel, overtime, and strict PPE compliance are expected in this field role.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in construction, finish carpentry, or door installation.
• Reliable attendance and flexible schedule.
• PPE required (steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves).
• The company uses E-Verify.

Field Service Technician – Door Installation & Repair

Overview

Responsible for customer satisfaction, troubleshooting, repair, and proper installation of all door systems produced by the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years in construction, finish carpentry, or door installation
• Reliable attendance and flexible schedule
• Must have PPE (steel‑toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves)
• The company uses E‑Verify

Training

• Three months on‑the‑job training

Key Responsibilities

• Repair defects and report issues to management/R&D
• Perform quality control
• Train sales teams, distributors, and dealerships on installation and product knowledge
• Troubleshoot customer issues (phone + onsite)
• Travel as needed; work overtime
• Follow all safety and PPE policies
• Read blueprints
• Complete service orders and maintain clean job sites
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Build and support customer relationships
• Identify faulty vs. customer‑damaged parts
• Coordinate with distributors/dealerships on jobsite issues
• Assist production on non‑service days
• Other duties as assigned

Tools & Equipment

Physical Requirements

• Lift 5–40 lbs
• Climb, crawl, bend, reach, walk long distances
• Stand for extended periods
