Job summary

TriMark USA is seeking a skilled Service Technician – Hot side to support our commercial kitchen equipment customers in Houston, TX. This field-based, full-time role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and maintaining hot-side cooking equipment in restaurant and hospitality environments.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years of hands-on service experience with gas and electric equipment, reads wiring diagrams, and holds a CFESA certification or equivalent; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

1–2+ years of experience servicing commercial cooking equipment (hot side).
Strong understanding of gas, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair gas and electric cooking equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and gas-related issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Replace defective components such as thermostats, gas valves, heating elements, ignition systems, control boards, and safety devices.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibrate temperature controls.
Provide professional, on-site customer support and document service activities.
